Classic Soft & Fluffy Flatbread

1 cup warm water

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup warm milk
2 tbsp Greek yogurt (or sour cream)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh herbs (parsley, rosemary, or thyme)

Prepare the dough: Mix flour, salt, and baking powder in a bowl. Add yogurt, olive oil, and warm milk, stirring until combined.

Knead & rest: Knead on a floured surface for 5 minutes. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Roll & cook: Divide into 6 pieces, roll them out, and cook in a dry skillet over medium heat for 1-2 minutes per side.

Garlic butter magic: While warm, brush with melted butter, minced garlic, and fresh herbs.

2 tbsp butter (melted)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
¾ cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese

Make the dough: In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir in warm milk, yogurt, and melted butter until combined.

Knead & rest: Knead for 5 minutes, then let the dough rest for 30 minutes.

Stuff with cheese: Divide into pieces, roll out, and place shredded cheese in the center. Fold the dough over and seal.

Cook until golden: Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook each side for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and melty inside.

Brush with butter & serve warm!
